Balsamic Flank Steak

A perfect dish for your Father’s Day Cook-Out!

Flank steak is the perfect steak for this amazing balsamic marinade!

  • 3 tablespoons THE OLIVE MILL SESAME OIL
  • 3 tablespoons THE OLIVE MILL BLACKBERRY GINGER BALSAMIC
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili flakes, optional
  • 2 lbs. Flank Steak

Lightly score the steak with 1″ diamond pattern, about 1/8″ deep.

Whisk the oil, balsamic, soy sauce, dijon mustard, garlic, rosemary, pepper and chili flakes in a small bowl or freezer bag.

Add the steak to the marinade and marinate for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.

Transfer the steak from the fridge at least 30 minutes before cooking.

Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steak until cooked through or until it reaches your desired level of doneness, about 7-9 minutes on one side and 5-7 minute on the other.

 Rest the steak for 10 minutes. Slice the steak against the grain and serve.
