Strawberry, Spinach and Pear Salad
½ cup black walnuts
10 oz. bag spinach leaves
10 oz. bag romaine lettuce, torn
½ cup OLIVE MILL Lemon olive oil
8 large strawberries
2 pears – peeled, cored and sliced
6 oz. crumbled feta cheese
3 T. OLIVE MILL Pear Balsamic
Place the walnuts in a small skillet over medium heat, toast the nuts while stirring constantly for 4-5 minutes. Set aside to cool completely. Toss together the spinach and romaine in a large mixing bowl and toss with oil. Arrange the strawberries, pears cheese and walnuts over top of the salad. Dress the salad with the pear balsamic.
