Marinara Sauce

Marinara Sauce

3 T. Tuscan Herb oil
3 cloves garlic
16 oz. can crushed tomatoes
½ cup red wine
½ cup water
1 t. salt
1 t. white sugar
6 leaves fresh basil leaves, torn

Heat oil in skillet over low heat, sauté garlic 2 minutes. Remove pan from heat. Allow to cool, add tomatoes, wine water, salt and sugar. Cook over medium heat and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer, covered about 20 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in basil.
