December Recipe of the Month
This salad will make your holiday table extra special!
HOLIDAY PEAR SALAD
Vinaigrette:
2/3 cup THE OLIVE MILL BLOOD ORANGE OIL
¼ cup THE OLIVE MILL HOLIDAY BALSAMIC
1 T. Dijon mustard
1 garlic clove, pressed
¼ t. salt and pepper
Salad:
3 medium pears, thinly sliced
Lemon juice
16 oz. salad greens, spring mix or baby spinach
1 oz. brie, thinly sliced
Pomegranate seeds
Toasted pecans
Mix vinaigrette ingredients in a bowl and set aside. For salad, cut the pears and place in a baggie with lemon juice. Seal bag and shake to coat. In a large bowl. In a large bowl, layer salad greens, pear slices, pieces of Brie, pomegranate seeds and toasted pecans. Just before serving dress with vinaigrette and toss.
